Snow Queen Moon

  

We gathered together under the Snow Queen moon at Christine's magical cottage on the hill. We all were wearing sparkles to celebrate this festive moon. I always love to come to these events, its a time to catch up, celebrate our victories, look for new perspectives and create our next adventure. Tonight was one of those nights when synchronicity confirmed our connection to each other and to the Divine energy that connects us all. Christine served comfort food...chicken pot pie and corn bread. Yummy! We drank Avalon Wine and Elderflower Champagne.

Christine moved us through an exercise to pull inspired words from a silver reindeer basket. We pulled our inspiration words and wrote about them in beautiful holiday cards. I pulled the words....Rejoice, Luck, Celebrate, Success.  I was stumped by the word "Luck". All I could think of was how luck dismissed the divine order of things. But as I sat with the word it became clear...by definition Luck is when something happens without a plan. I remember listening to a CD about how to allow  miracles into our lives. They suggested being willing to accept a Gift. In other words, being willing to receive something with out doing anything to get it. Like being willing to accept something by Gods grace alone.

So this year I rejoice in the gifts God graces me with and I celebrate the successful direction my life moves in from those gifts.

I just got a new job (its contract for now but it will convert to regular full time soon) and it was clearly a miracle, a gift and a huge blessing.  When it was clear that I needed to change jobs, the path was presented to me step by step. There were points where what I was doing did not look like it would take me in the direction I wanted to go. I would not have created the path I took to get to the goal...but now looking back I can see ever step built on the next until the goal was realized. The path to the victory was a mystery.

Its fun to have a tribe that I can reach out to, to celebrate my life's victories. Its great to celebrate with women who will let me share the story and cheer at all the good parts.

November Moon ~ Manresa Restaurant Visit

Julie and I spent a decadent and deliciously over the top "BLUE MOON" at Manresa Restaurant in Los Gatos....We indulged in all sorts of strange and interesting delicacies from one course to the next we let ourselves venture into surprises and unusual offerings. It was an adventure and an aesthetic experience to be sure. In the end, we learned that it's fun to be extravagant and silly once in a BLUE MOON :)

Pumpkin Moon: October Full Moon Celebration

October Full Moon was a casual party affair. The Moon Gods where invited to join us. We brought pumpkins and food to share. It was a delightful evening. We sat in a circle and shared stories and laughed at times past. It's good to have history with friends.

September Full Moon; Lavendar Moon

September Full Moon was a quiet affair.  Christine lost her beloved Grandmother and friend and I lost my Aunt Susie Pettus. It was a quiet time to hug loved ones and reflect on what is most important. Full moon was small, Christine and I gathered at my house in the afternoon so I could pick up my cousin at SFO before driving to the funeral the next morning.

Lavendar scented candles filled the air with fragrance and soft spa music played in the back ground. We both needed relaxation and peace. This full moon provided a calming force from which to create the next 30 days.

We pulled wisdom cards by Collette Barron Reid. My cards reminded me to let go and let things flow. Be the river. Love unconditionally. Stay true to my path. So I have done just that for the next few days I just followed the flow. I let go of being attached to plans or my way of doing things. It gave me a freedom to move through my own grief and be a support to others.

Things are still unfolding but one thing I know for sure...Family and Friends are everything. Make time for the people most important to you and let go of being all things to all people. Be your juiciest self for those you love the most.

My Personal July Full Moon Celebration

Glastonbury England is a sanctuary and a pilgrimage for me. A place that my heart calls HOME. I was very fortunate to spend three days around the FULL MOON in a beautiful B&B called Hillside, with two Hosts that were LOVE incarnate, Anna and Simon. I was also very fortunate to share this Moon with a very kind man who shares my belief in all things Ethereal. We spent the actual night of the Moon sitting at the foot of the TOR reveling in the city lights and cloudy Moonscape. It was both Surreal and Romantic. A lasting memory and a manifested vision. Thoughts, do become reality.

July Full Moon: Personal Moon

This month I am declaring a personal moon celebration. That means time to celebrate the full moon in your own personal way. This moon we will not be joining in community at a Goddesses home, but that doesn't mean we are not celebrating the full moon. The moon has powerful properties that can be gathered in community and individually. This moon is a time to explore our individual needs in our own way.  I invite each of you to use everything you have learned so far in our moon celebrations to create a personal moon celebration for yourself. It doesn't need to be fancy but it does need to be special to you. The opportunity is to explore how you will power up when you are not in community.  Lives, work and responsibilities keep us all busy from time to time. What happens when your community is not available the moment we need them. It happens. How do you recharge your own batteries so that you can regroup and move forward full, rich , fulfilled and satisfied.  Explore the elements that return you to balance and the frequency with which you need to participate in those activities and be prepared to share that on email with the group or at our next full moon in August.

Glimpses of The Dragonfly Moon

Magick was a foot and flashes and cameras were failing to capture this gathering. Here are a few rare glimpses of some of last Moon's Essence. We dined on Moroccan Soup and drank Iced Moroccan Mint Tea, while delving into Water Magick under the White Moonlight...donning our Dragonfly Wings. Christina made a guest appearance from her Hollywood base and Sue flew out from Utah to join our little circle. I'm so grateful to have had guests from a far...
A lovely evening, with lovely ladies. "Faith" "Patience" "Breakthrough" and "Self-Love" be granted to us all :)

May Full Moon: Wish Moon - Wear SunScreen

Wish Moon was a delight! There is lots to be grateful for in my life and the wish moon brought that to light. My wish is that I grow deeper in my faith and connection to spirit by eliminating the things that distract me from being present. Present with the amazing souls that surround me and present to ways for me to contribute more in life.  I want to loose the weight that I'm carring on my frame that no longer serves me, I want to deepen my partnership with Andy (let our love and connection be an inspiration to others on the journey to fulfilling partnership) , I want to let go of my 13 year old car and choose a car that supports me now.

The Lessions I want to take away from the night and incorporate into my life in the coming months:

- Really good body work (I was inspired by Lisa's Eslen massage)

- Taking the time to celebrate what I learned/gained for myself from seemingly miserable circumstances that I have been holding on to.

- Bringing more of my faith in to my relationship

- Its important to fine tune wishes. If I make a wish and it shows up and is not what I wanted...its time to fine tune. Like dialing into a radio station...but this is a wish station.

- Its ok to express my most powerful self..Don't back down

- Its important to see the blessings in disguise

- Clearing the superficial nature of relationships...what matters is the heart... the rest is story.
