April's Full Moon is a time to relish the blossoming of long
tended seeds.

This month's moon is often referred to as the Seed Moon. The energies around this moon are ones of fertility, growth and inner wisdom. We are encouraged to be bold at this time; to take action.

Gems to enhance this moon's energy include beauties like Amethyst, Carnelian and Citrine. These three gems are all considered to have red and orange chakra energy, which governs our sexuality and primal drives. So if you're looking for a wild time or just need a bit of motivation, slip one of these into your pocket.

Goddess Venus

Venus is the Roman Goddess of love, passion, romance and sexuality. Again, she governs the red root chakra. The sexual energy of this Goddess doesn't necessarily mean sex only. It also means creativity, self-expression and passion for anything. So if you need a boost here, you can say a simple prayer to Venus. Or better yet, make a little doll and slip it in your pocket.

March Full Moon: Magpie Moon * Communication and Creative Expression

Full Moon was a delight last night! I had a really full week but some how preparing for an audience with the Goddesses brought me back to life. This full moon is about communication and creative expression. I prepared a wonderful light spread of something salty and sweet to much on. We sipped sparkly beverages from wine glasses. We laughed and caught up on the months events. We shared stories then went to the table to continue the conversation and have a bit of dinner. Chicken, veggies and rice. Dinner was followed by a delightful spread of chocolate desserts and hot mango peach tea. Yummy! Then we began our ritual of setting our intentions. We wrote them out on goddess cards in great detail. Then we discussed our wishes and supported each other in clarifying our wishes. When we got them really flushed out...we put them on our Magpie Moon candles. I created Magpie Moon Candles from glass prayer candles and anointed them with water from Chalice Well in Glastonbury, England and Aura Soma essences. These moon candles will be lit during the full moon to bring our wishes to life.

This moon we dedicate to the power of communication and creative expression. If you have felt inspired to speak up for yourself, give presentations, sing, teach classes, write or journal...you are in the moon energy of the March full moon.

The opportunity of this month is to expand our experience of expression. Where can we express ourselves in our own unique way? Where have we been resisting expressing ourselves that we are willing to express ourselves now. We don't have to do it like anyone else, we just need to find our unique expression and do it. This month we can tap into your own unique creative muse and bring our unique expression to life. Create our own signature writing style. Create our own unique way of teaching or presenting information to others. Say what we need to say...when we need to say it ... without excessive filtering. Singing along on the radio with your own harmony or add a little "scat". What ever it looks like to you...this month is the time to try something new and something that inspires us.
