December Full Moon: Snow Moon

December Snow Moon

Date: Friday December 4th
Time: 7:00 pm
Place: Julie Valentine's House

Bring: Bring something sparkly to drink and share
Wear: Wear something sparkly with a hint of something winter white.

Please join us for an evening of winter celebration and girly gathering to create our greatest expression of this holiday season.

This full moon we will focus on our expectations and perceptions of the holiday's. Everyone has different expectation of the holidays and sometimes those expectations no longer express who we are today. They reflect a vision we had as a child or a vision that was given to us by our families. Full moon is about reclaiming who we are as women for ourselves and for those around us.

This full moon we will focus on consciously shaping the holidays in ways that express who we are today...our love, our creativity, our joy, and our personal beliefs. This may mean creating new traditions or bringing new life to existing ones.

I'm looking forward to creating some miracles this holiday season so ladies please remember to respect the sacredness of our circle, do your work to be present when you arrive and be open for some REAL MAGICK.

I look forward to see you!

Love, leadership and laughter,

Julie

Sassafras Full Moon Celebration

This full moon was a joy and a delight. Christine requested that we all come prepared to evoke the magic of the moon together. With the full moon and Samhain so close together...this moon promised extra magical energy. Our gracious hostess Christine greeted us at the door with a wide smile and an open heart. Her home was a glow of candles and the air was fragrant with the aroma of sweet and savory dishes. We embraced and placed the objects we brought with us that represented Earth, Air, Water and Fire on the altar. We gathered in the living room to settle and catch up with each other. Wine, artichoke dip and walnut bread ...yummy! When we where done spilling open about our month and catching up ...we moved into the dining room for dinner.

We began with seasonal fresh veggies and fruit...grapes, pomegranate seeds, lady apples, baby carrots. Christine shared the story of  Persephone and the Greek myth of how the seasons came to be. It was a beautiful story and got us in the mood to honor the sacredness of winter.  Dinner was healthy vegetarian and delicious.

After dinner we had tea in the living room and Christine lead us in a wonderful meditation. My meditation took me down an old oak tree with smooth walls and lots of light. We met our spirit guides who took us to a special world. My world was filled with nature, butterflies and flowing streams. My ancestors where there and someone told me my theme for the coming year...HEALTH. I also was cut over my right brow with a silver sward and then my guide healed me instantly. No scars and no pain. I realized that attending to my health will allow me to heal any wounds I may have ...and no scars or evidence of the original wound will remain. On the way out of our meditation we met an animal guide. I met a white lamb.

We wrote in wonderful paper scrolls and shared our sacred objects. I brought my Lumarian seed crystal, the water from Chalice Well in Glastonbury, England, my feather fan I use to smudge my house and a 7 day prayer candle.

The coming year for me is about creating a LEGENDARY LEGACY. It starts with taking care of my health and losing the weight I need to loose. Loosing the weight allows me to shed what I don't need so I can be present for what I want.  What I want most of all is to work for a company and in a career where my interests and my skills meet. I also want to continue to be in one of the most satisfying romantic relationships of my life.

Sassafras Moon ~ Samhain

Four Ladies representing the four Elements...travelled back through a Door in the Ancient Oak to an Underworld ruled by Persephone, there we found our Magic words and placed them in the Cauldron of inspiration to begin anew. Magic Lives.
